Look hard the light is in the distance. It’s just that this lighthouse is set in such a beautiful location amongst fields of flowers, tulips in the spring, that I had to use a photo of the flowers. Located in the north west of Tasmania this cape is said to have some of the cleanest air in the world having travelled across nothing but oceans halfway around the world. On one visit my late aunt exclaimed “This is enough to blow your wig off!” and she was clutching hers at the time.
WOW! I love a lighthouse, as you know and they are usually in beautiful places but this one has to take the prize for ‘most picturesque location’. Flowers are not usually a feature in places ‘windy enough to blow your wig off’!
