Last night I was watching TV and the presenter was describing an area as being “Five Sydney Harbours!” Wherever we go tour guides love to quote their particular waterway as being “X amount of Sydney Harbours”. We hear this so often that I’m beginning to think that Sydney Harbour is quite small.
It’s a step up from the “x Olympic Pools”!

Oh I’d forgotten that one. I used to work for a company that built a warehouse in Sydney that was MCG size.

The other one I often hear is “X Football ovals”. I guess the MCG is the same size as that. 🙂

In the UK things are always measured in areas the size of Wales!

Thus 1 Wales = 377 Sydney Harbours.
