A flock of Red Tailed Black Cockatoos feasting on the fruit of Beach Almond trees. With a distinctive cry, you’ll always hear these fellows before you see them.

So majestic. We get the yellow created ones here.

We normally don’t get the yellow tailed down here but the other day I saw a flock feasting on pine nuts in the trees outside the Woolies supermarket, so there ya go.

We have a huge amount of yellow tailed black cockies around at the moment, decorating all the pine trees and native bushes near home. I love their cries.
