Day 104 Sunday 21/8/2016, Rappville – Ebor, warm to freezing True to the publican’s word, at 2:00am the XPT did whoosh past quicker than a flash but there were eleven goods trains too. Including one that stopped beside us while the XPT went past! Surprisingly we woke refreshed and had slept much better than we did on the Gold Coast. Like a Rollingstone, Day 94 – Curlew Tai Chi

Day 94 Thursday 11/8/2016, Burleigh Heads, 24 This morning I climbed the headland upper walk to the Tugun lookout. The forest is busy with Brush Turkeys even one who flies up lands on a looping vine and starts happily swinging above me. There are two Curlews that stalk our park. The moment that you lock eyes on them they freeze using camouflage to hide themselves from view but it doesn’t quite work. They look more like a couple of old ladies locked in a Tai Chi position.
