July 2020, Wooli, NSW We’re all pretty excited (except for VeeWee who thinks that we’re as mad as hatters) about the Masterchef final tonight. Elle has watched every episode. I send Elle a text kidding her that we must make the amazing ‘toffee apple’ dessert tomorrow and get an unexpected reply… They’ve lost signal for Channel Ten! No problems the four of us squeeze into our van glued to the TV watching the finish…only to find that it will be tomorrow night, we’ve been watching the Semi. Bugger! Day 37 Friday 17/7/20 Evans Head to Wooli, sunny 21 When we arrived here at Evans Head this site was difficult to get into because the front of the site was on a steep slope. As we had anticipated it is also hard to hook the van up as it is much higher than the car’s tow bar. Woody tackles it from a sharp angle and gets the van on the tow bar but we can’t get the jack unhooked. Day 29 Thursday 9/7/20 Alstonville, cloud, some drizzle 18 A little sunshine makes the world rosy again. Our phones are running hot. Where are we? Will we make it into QLD? How will we go about it? Is the entry form online yet or do we fill one out at the border? The government website hasn’t been updated yet.
