Murchison House Station is a range goat farm on the banks of the Murchison River just out of Kalbarri in Western Australia. It is dog friendly and there are plenty of peaceful riverbank camp sites. Like so many farm stays there are friendly hosts and farm animals to get to know too, chooks, horses, goats. It is a good place to base yourself when visiting the Kalbarri National Park and close but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town.

Looks like one to put on our list.

Murchison House station looks like its in the absolute middle of nowhere, another world completely. Amazing. Looks so different to so much of the country.

Yes flat rugged country yet a charming seaside town ten minutes or so down the road. WA is like that though hundreds of kilometres of seemingly nothingness between fascinating towns.
