This morning we stood on the lawns of Government House in Canberra and choked back the tears while Australia’s Governor General Sir Peter Cosgrove delivered an address to the media. Behind the Governor General and his wife, the backdrop held deep and prophetic meaning. The Bravery Garden, filled with Australian and New Zealand plants and rosemary in remembrance of our ANZACS and Gallipoli, today the flags of both nations at half-mast once more. Australia and New Zealand share a bond like no other two nations and today we mourn for their loss.
When will this senseless suffering end?
The world is mourning with New Zealand
