Last year we popped into the Loddon Bridge Pub at Bridgewater on Loddon for a winter warmer. We were intrigued by the timber bar top and that it was chained down at one end. The lady behind the bar explained that it was bending with the heat from the fireplace. And we thought it was trying to get away.
