Why is it that when a van leaks it is over the bed? I never hear anyone complaining that the shower hatch leaks. Or the main hatch leaks all over the floor. No! it’s always over the bed or the wall behind the bed so that the mattress gets wet and ruins your night’s sleep.

I’m sure my recollection is inaccurate of a documentary I once saw about a pygmy couple sleeping in a makeshift shelter made of sticks and leaves during a rainstorm, but I will relate it anyway. Wife says to husband, “Our shelter is leaking. Go out and fix it.” Husband responds, “It’s not dripping on me. You go out and fix it!”
