When all else fails, when the drive is long and you are tired sometimes the gravel pit is the best option and they are usually level.

Flat and protected from the wind and fairly quiet (trying to think of any more benefits). Could be a bit dusty though and the views aren’t great. Oh, assume they’re cheap?
