Many years ago at a photography lecture a wildlife expert joked that if you want your subject to stay still then nail it’s feet down. Boy I could’ve used boxes of nails over the years especially when it comes to birds. And this little fella? Well he wasn’t going to turn around for an old duck with a camera.
