For those of you who are prospective caravanners this glossary may help in understanding the terminology, but not all readers are caravanners. May I suggest then, that it will certainly improve your trivia knowledge.
Hang onto your hats –
A is for Anderson Plug
The connection that passes 12 volt power from the car to the caravan whilst travelling to power the 3 way (12 volt, 240volt & gas) fridge. Anderson plugs are installed with a cut off method and don’t have to be disconnected when you stop for a break. Older connections would happily drain your car battery while you were stretching your legs. A real holiday wrecker.
