Only 28kms west of Warwick, there’s acres of space around the sports ground. Power and water is available and there is a caretaker, Curley, on site. A blissfully peaceful spot it is surrounded by small farms and is well away from traffic noise. A portable type amenities block has spotless toilets and showers. There is plenty of wildlife with galahs, corellas and kangaroos to keep you company. If you like a fire in the evening there are fire pits and wood is available. This is more than just an overnighter as it is a peaceful well-maintained campground and it only costs $15 per van per night.
