Day 93 Saturday Sep 6th 2014 Yelgun to Sapphire Beach
It was a quiet night and no traffic noise. We have a breakfast coffee at Brunswick Heads and the local market is in full swing beside the river. The town is friendly and inviting. We wouldn’t mind coming back here.

Woody’s brother, Woody the Elder and his wife The Very good Golfer left the Gold Coast this morning and we meet at Woodburn for morning tea before they continue to Sawtell. We say goodbye to the sugar cane farms as they flash past at Ulmarra. The Jeep reminds us that it wants a service. Fat chance!
We arrive at Split Solitary Caravan Park at Sapphire Beach quite early, so we have plenty of time to spend with The Best Man and his missus M who have been in residence here for a week or so. It is a quiet little park and the surf pounds relentlessly, the aftermath of cool weather.
