Day 4 Sunday 30/5/21 Tocumwal, icy then warm 0-16

After a pleasant morning sitting in the sun chatting and reading we take a short drive to the local tourist attraction. One that we’ve never heard of. The Blowhole is a strange funnel like 15 foot deep water filled hole in a flat granite outcrop. Sacred to the Ulupna and Bangaragn people it seems to be connected to the Murray River, several kilometres away, as its water level rises as that in the Murray lowers. We scratch our heads wondering at the mystery of it.

Dinner is pork fillets in a ginger sesame sauce but don’t ask me for the recipe because it was a pot luck special.
