Capricorn Dancers, Day 85 – Red Tailed Black Cockatoos

Day 85 Thursday 19/8/21 Mulambin, cloudy 21

An angrysoldier crab who’s lost his platoon

A brief shower and a cool breezy day gives us a lazy morning indoors for hitting our screens. Woody on FaceBook and me blogging and doing Youtube art videos. It’s funny how the lesson on drawing palm trees from the US is the same type of palm that I can see out our kitchen window. Yet, still, I can’t get the damned thing right. I’m about ready to chop it down and take it home with us.

The weather clears enough for Woody to walk around Yeppoon and a chance for me to harass a bunch of Red Tailed Black Cockatoos with the camera. Meanwhile an excited El Prado returns from a trip to the butcher with brains & kidneys for Woody. I’ll be sleeping in when he cooks that lot up for breakfast!

  1. I don’t mind devilled kidneys, but as a child I couldn’t stand brains. Who knows, maybe my adult taste buds would enjoy them now. I’m in no hurry to find out though!
