Yackety Yack, Day 86 – She must be a dingo

Day 86 Wednesday 2/8/2023 Mulambin, short shower 17 – 22 the wind returns

Elle is lucky to get an appointment with the local dentist. Ex Army he holds up the X Ray and says “It’s Effed!” She raves about his work as he does a temporary repair to get her home. A $7000 implant is looming though.

While Elle is undergoing repairs, we have lunch with Double or Nuthin’ and Shirley Temple and old mates who live locally C & W at Waterline restaurant overlooking the Marina. C & W are in the process of selling their farm and moving closer to the National Park and the family. They’re also doing repairs on a rental property and have paint splatters on their arms to prove it. C tells us that one of their daughters ‘must be a dingo’ as 4 of her 5 kids were born in the same month. When we look blankly, she explains that dingoes only come on heat once a year.
