No.2 Goods Shed in Pencil

Melbourne, Vic

How could I not drop everything and sketch this delightful building while it is fresh in my mind? I call it a ‘Travel Sketch’ as I have drawn it from my photo and unlike ‘Urban Sketching’ I have chosen to leave out the wheelie bins by the front door.

  1. Very nice! I read your last post about htis shed and it reminded me of when I worked in the building next to that shed in Docklands. I used to look down on the section to the north near Bourke St. It was being fitted out for a restaurant at the time. lovely building, its a shame they had to split it in two.

      1. That would be something. Have you ever watched the British TV show “Help I bought A Village”? It is about people who buy and restore derelict villages in Europe. We like it since we live in that kind of place. You might enjoy it if it’s available.
