Ahhh….Michelton……a lovely winery. In recent years it seems to have recaptured some of its former glory. I love Tahbilk too, very rustic and beautiful wines.
Yes, all of Tahbilk just reeks of history and old wines. Probably my all time favourite however is Chambers in Rutherglen. If you get talking to Bill Chambers, you never know what he might bring out for you. Best Muscats in the universe!
We felt quite proud when over a delightful dinner in England the sommelier waxed lyrical on the quality of Victorian fortifieds. Which reminds me there’s one in the cupboard that needs attention.

Yes it seems to have settled into the landscape beautifully. Tahbilk with that wonderful old cellar, well you can just inhale the essence of it.
