The beach at Horse Rock Camp Ground, SA is starkly beautiful and there are, what we believe to be, large razor fish shells on the beach that must be almost a foot in length. One is warned to wear shoes on the beaches on this coast as the razor fish shells stand vertically in the sand just waiting to cut your feet to shreds. Note to self to add that to the growing list of dangerous marine life (crocodiles, sharks, stone fish…). It’s lucky that I’m wearing my steel mesh oyster proof shoes from Coffs Harbour is all that I can say.
Ouch!
