Feb 2020, Otway Ranges, Vic
A few minutes down a short well-made dirt road from the Otway Fly is the picnic and parking area of Triplet Falls. It can’t be all that far because Outback Jack (Woody) didn’t start complaining about the road. The downhill track to the falls is an easy walk even for tired legs that have just done the Treetop Adventure at the Otway Fly. Walking back up is a little harder as there are a few steps, but it is worth it. There are remnants of the old logging days, tall tree ferns and the clear mountain stream gurgling along before it plummets. Oh and more funghi.

Such a beautiful walk

Abandoned tools, machinery, and stock always make me wonder about that last day at work. The heartbreak and fear of what is to come, the memories of better times!
