Day 9 Saturday 29/2/20 Broken Creek to Yackandandah, warm 29
We wake early and pack up. There’ll be no lazy brekkies in the camp kitchen with this lot. As we drive out they’re already queueing for the toilets and showers with towels draped over their arms.
We have a good coffee and gooey brownies in Benalla at Polly Pocket cafe and I buy a T shirt from the attached screen printing business. We pick up a few necessities and wash the van before ambling off through the King and Ovens Valleys to Beechworth and Yack.
We settle into the Yackandandah Caravan Park just two sites down from where we spent Christmas. The park is a green oasis. We do the washing, clean the van and doze. In the evening we cook a green curry and eat outside as it is cooler than indoors. The weather not the curry.

Oh, I do love Yack. And I love a good curry too. Makes me hanker to get out there again.

You know even two trips to Yack in three months wasn’t overdoing it. It is such a delightful town.
