Day 102 Sunday 14th Sept 2014 Crescent Head to Stockton
The tide is low in the early morning when I walk up the creek to the lagoon to see the birds.
We buy salty fresh oysters and bugs from the Hastings River at Port Macquarie on the drive down to Stockton. The highway is wide and quiet and the golden wattle is in bloom. It’s a great day for a drive.
Stockton is warm and sunny and there are yachts offshore. A late seafood lunch in the sun and a walk by the Hunter River caps off a fine day.
