Day 22 Tuesday 30/5/2023, Narrabri, sunny 2 – 21
It’s another bright and clear morning. While Woody strides off to town, I do some washing, and cleaning, and post a couple of blogs. As I walk out of the amenities block, I spot a couple of horses (now that’s an unusual sentence) in their stables. When my pocket is nudged, I figure that someone gets regular treats. Later in the day, Woody returns with carrots to feed to a one-eyed horse. In the meantime, VeeWee sneaks over to the stables with steak trimmings for the stable cats.

Woody buys an extendable squeegee for the windscreens. VeeWee and I drive to the other side of the lake where there is a pretty park. We also visit Narrabri Creek Park, little Nic is one happy dog. Vee joins us for another spirited happy hour. Gosh, we can yack.

I’m preparing dinner when I put the snags in a bag to dredge them with flour, I give the bag a toss and a rogue sausage flies out dusting me in flour.
Dinner tonight is a flying floury sausage tray bake.
Accom: $17.85
