Day 32 Friday 9/6/2023 Murwillumbah, sunny 10 – 23
Woody shops early for today’s lunch. We have a lazy morning. The weather is perfect, sunny, and no breeze. We can almost see the cane growing, a crystal, craft & jewellery show is setting up on the other side of the Showgrounds.
Woody the Elder and The Very Good Golfer arrive for lunch, and we set the table out on the lawn in the shade of Elle’s motor home. Woody cooks Elle’s recipe for potato and egg pies in the 2 pie makers (no. we don’t carry two, Elle’s and ours) and we toss a salad. It’s a pleasant afternoon yacking in the sun in such an idyllic setting.
Dinner is felafels revisited.

Thanks Margy, I could have gazed at that scene all day, the houses poking out from the tropical greenery, majestic Mt Warning and of course the sugar cane.
