Tanby Beach

A hidden gem, this one is off the main road and through housing estates just before Emu Park. Tanby Point at the eastern curve of the beach is one of those real estate havens. This short narrow peninsula is only long enough for less than a handful of homes, and each block straddles the ridge giving each of these grand homes uninterrupted ocean views to both the north and the south. All I can think of is flinging the doors and windows open and letting the breeze go right through.

Tanby Beach (or Emu Park North beach) is a delightfully quiet beach for roaming and combing. A beach for locals and for those staying in the accommodation behind the dunes. A beach for getting a bit of sand on the dog too.
