Day 2 Sunday 23/11/2025 Meeniyan, 14 – 18 drizzly and chilly

It’s a wet and miserable morning until Woody returns from the bakery with coffee and croissants. Aaah, that’s more like it.

We consider moving across to the lawn section of the reserve, but it is still quite busy. We give up on the idea and stay where we are on the gravel. We do have a quiet spot and between showers we manage a few strolls and a sketch, doesn’t everyone draw toilets? VeeWee arrives with the poodles and her new Teardrop camper. It’s quite cleverly put together with an open-up kitchen at the back and a 360 degree awning setup.

The cold wind gets the better of us, and we retreat to the shelter of the footy club veranda for happy hour.

Dinner is cevapcicis cooked by Toothless on his impressive BBQ. To avoid the chill we pile into the ‘Toothless’ van to dine, crikey, we could fit another 6 in here!
