“Roo shooters and caravans not allowed” says the sign at the car wash in Mt Isa, Queensland. In Winton we notice 4WD’s rigged with rows of stainless steel hooks on the back. When out walking in the early morning Woody notices a lot of activity at the butchers. Apparently these are the commercial kangaroo shooters and the kangaroos are taken to the butcher for preparation for the export market. Apparently the shooters can only operate at certain hours of the day and I can understand that there may be a lot of blood involved in their line of work but what’s wrong with caravans?
