Winter 2017, Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Qld
Leaving Imbil we wind through the forest and cross Yabba Creek six times before we arrive at Lake Borumba camp ground. A well sheltered, treed and grassy area beside Yabba Creek and at the base of the spillway. The sites are level and power is available. The creek is a quiet fishing spot. I wonder if it would be this peaceful when trail bike riders come through but for now it is inviting.
Footnote: Managed by the local water commission the campground is reasonably priced with extra of course for power. It is currently closed but that maybe due to weather. Check with the local Information Centre first.

Stunning.

Thanks AB. There are a lot of cheerful retirees wandering about the Countryside.
