The World is our Oyster

Coffin Bay is a fisherman’s Haven. Nice homes and shacks line the oyster filled bay. A kindly local on the CB directs us to the Shellar Door of Pure Coffin Bay Oysters. We put a couple of dozen large ones on ice but Woody just can’t resist buying a few smaller ones for morning tea at the jetty.

This is a real paradise (except of course for the razor fish) School kids are learning to kayak on the bay, fishermen are working on their boats, travellers are chatting and green parrots are squabbling in the trees, and a bunch of grey nomads are happily slurping oysters.
