Note that although this is in Menindee, NSW the time referred to is South Australian time as Copi Hollow is a holiday destination for Broken Hill residents. Broken Hill, 100km closer to South Australia but still in NSW is on Central (SA / NT) Time. I’ll bet that confuses the snakes.

I think that these signs come under the heading of ‘Signs it is prudent not to ignore’. Like the one that I saw on the back of a wagon that said ‘Keep Out – Wolves in Transit.’ Or ‘No heavy vehicles. Cesspit under forecourt.’!
