Banned on the Run, Days 37 – 50 – A swell time in Wooli

July 2020, Wooli, NSW

As the morning warms up we sneak over to our communal table in the sun. Papers spread out, cups of coffee and warming sunshine. It doesn’t get much better than this. Before we know it it’s lunchtime and we’re seeking shade.

We drive to our nearest beach access in ‘new’ Wooli but we’re unable to get down onto the beach as, thanks to the Tasman Sea Swell there’s a sheer drop of about 15 feet (in the old currency). Instead we visit the river entrance in ‘old’ Wooli and walk the surf beach collecting pretty pebbles. It doesn’t take much to amuse oldies does it?
