Day 39 Sunday 4/7/21 Tannum Sands, sunny 23

The sun is shining. We fling open the windows and the roof hatches, sweep off the rain and mud spatters. The birds are singing and the coughing neighbour’s useless husband is trying to pack up. We’re taking bets on how long he’ll take.

We have refreshing walks on the beach. There are dozens of ships offshore waiting their turn to enter Gladstone harbour. We snooze in the sun. And cook pan fried salmon with brown rice salad for dinner. All is right with the world again.
