Capricorn Dancers, Days 64 & 65 – Kombi Kegs and sleep solutions

Day 64 Thursday 29/7/21 Mulambin, hot 28

We drive into Rockhampton for a spot of shopping. We try cooking plantain banana chips in the air fryer but give up too soon. Soft mush isn’t ideal as a drinks nibble for happy hour. But we do make mini pizzas using naan bread. They are perfect caravan pizzas, not what you’d call gourmet, but quick easy and tasty. Fusion food perhaps?

Day 65 Friday 30/7/21 Mulambin, breezy 22

We meet Silicon and MV for lunch at the Keppel Bay Sailing Club. They come bearing an armload of passionfruit from C’s farm up near Byfield. Lunch is good with that wonderful view of aqua blue water and the islands.

We have music at happy hour as the park have put on entertainment. A band, face painting, ice creams, sausage sangers and beer. The beer is dispensed from taps on the side of a keg bearing Kombi.

Shirley Temple’s doc has fitted her up with a CPAP machine but she hasn’t got a shelf large enough to use it in the caravan. I’m wondering if the air fryer box would suffice as a shelf. After all everything in the caravan should have two uses and I’ll bet you won’t find that one in a Google search.
