Blue Faced Honeyeaters

Theresa Creek Dam, Qld, 2016

The other day I noticed sparkly little shreds of nylon hanging from the stitching on our caravan awning. Birds! Bloody birds! They hang upside down, they beg for tucker, they tiptoe back and forth across the roof when we’re trying to sleep in and they just love picking away at stitching to feather their nests.
