After a stroll with my sister-in-law down through the rainforest to the base of Purling Brook Falls and a serious trudge back up again I didn’t expect the birds to come to us to be photographed. I had to be quick to catch a blurry glimpse of the Brown Cuckoo Dove but as for the Butcher Bird, well he wanted to have lunch with us. In the café!
