A few more photographs of this impressive railway station. Sometimes we visit a town and rush to check out the railway station only to be disappointed. There’ll be little more than a ‘modern’ metal shelter and what may have been a charming station has gone or maybe there never was a functioning station. Built around 1890 to stand the test of time here it is in all its glory, a reminder of an era when attention to detail was all-important.
