Day 7, Tuesday 17th Sept 2013 Barham – Melbourne
Once more, it rained heavily during the night and everything is wet and soggy. There are lots of hugs as we say goodbye. We go through Kerang and pass what is left of the iconic pub that was burnt down only last week. Somehow the threatening rain holds off and we zig zag to Boort, Korong Vale, then back onto the Calder Highway at Inglewood (birthplace of Sir Reg Ansett). We have a huge serving of roast lamb and ten vegetables at the Morong Family Hotel before hitting the Morong Bypass Road to avoid the Bendigo city traffic and home.
Summary
1056kms
7 days, 6 nights

Floods and fire – what a combination.

That was a rather large lamb dinner!

Which is why we counted the vegetables. We can’t pass that pub now without remembering the roast!
