Day 5, Friday 10th Jan 2014 Elmore
We wake to the screech of cockatoos and the smell of hot, dry bush. Which way is the river flowing? Who cares? It doesn’t matter. Emerald green willows are dipping in the water. Noisy galahs are chattering and every so often a water hen honks. It is so reminiscent of the Murray. The camping community is very friendly so we unhook and drive into town for a look around Elmore. It is 32degrees and the town is slow and sleepy. We drive on to Rochester and back.
