Causeway Lake and Kinka Beach, Capricorn Coast
Causeway Lake
When the coastal road, the Scenic Highway was built a causeway was constructed over Mulambin Creek creating a tidal lake. This is a great spot for fishing, both on the lake and at the turn of the tide below the causeway. There are a number of homes, a small caravan park and an old- fashioned fish n chip shop.

Kinka Beach
Across the causeway is Kinka Beach. Along this pretty section of highway, you’ll find several caravan parks and homes on large blocks with fabulous sea views. There are numerous access points to the beach, and most are a decent slog through the soft sand. It’s one of those places that gives you a good workout before you get there. Like the others Kinka is a long beach and it is excellent for fossicking as the current deposits lots of flotsam here.

Fine photos and very good drawing with detail including the crossed legs
