Summary of Days 55 to 59, 1st to 5th Aug 2026, Gosh it’s August!, Mulambin
The weather has been pleasant, low 20’s as always. It’s been a blur of a week, phone calls and discussions about the Celebration of Life for Woody the Elder, at the end of the month on the Gold Coast and plans for the trip down. We’ve firmed things up and booked our accommodation. Murwillumbah will be our base for the Goldie but of course that is a showground with a 7 night limit.
We take long walks on the beaches and feed those bloody horses. Double or Nuthin’ puts the Toyota in for a recall, something about a Diesel Particulate Filter, whatever that is, and I had a 15 minute senior’s trim. Shirley Temple wanted a haircut too, but she wanted to wait and see how mine turned out.
I’m thrilled it’s a10/10. I suppose I’d better colour it now.
