Nov 2019, Heyfield, Vic

Camped at the RV Stop Spot in the small Gippsland town of Heyfield we stroll to the town wetlands and take the shorter walk around the gum tree fringed lake. Cormorants are preening in the sun, ducks, waterhens and coots and scoot about. There are sculptures by the lake and possum boxes nailed to trees, wide stretches of lawn and sweet-smelling bushland. It is a delightful spring morning with the promise of warmth to come and this is a lovely space to stretch the legs and clear the head of city stuff.
It is cold and windy over here (uk) so lovely to see blue sky🌝
Very interesting sculpture.
