Perched high the Razorback lookout gives stunning views to Ballina in the north but we squint into the sun. In the sea below, dolphins are playing in the huge swell that has been pounding the coast this week. The lines of rollers can easily be seen from up here.

A short drive to the south reveals Chinamans Beach and a pleasant picnic area.

To the north of the town the main surf beach is known as Aircraft Beach it is perfect for an off leash run for our four legged travelling mate mate Nic.

Looks lovely. Enjoy.,

Presumably they have, at times, used it as a runway?

One would imagine as the nearby aerodrome was used for bombing and gunnery training during World War 2.
