Day 26 Monday 21/6/21 Kenilworth, sunny 22
A beautiful morning in the sun, reading and sketching the back of a house across the street. It’s the police residence and up on stilts like so many Queensland homes.

We take another walk around town with the reward of drinks at the pub. The local Eumundi Ginger Beer is a real find, gingery and not too sweet. It’s pleasant sitting on the pub front porch in the sunshine watching the world go by slowly.

In case you think we caravanners live on BBQ’d food, dinner is a sautéed pork fillet with Dijon, coriander and tomato jus which sounds a whole lot better than a sauce made of fridge leftovers.

Thanks Wendy, whether it turns out or not it’s a pleasant way to stop and see things through different eyes.
