We shop in nearby Emu Park, a more pleasant and relaxed place to shop I can’t imagine. Woody grabs a few more zips down the waterslide before taking a doctor’s appointment, by phone, an advancement that we can thank Covid for.

A visitor who popped out from under the ice fridge

VeeWee is heading down the coast towards us. We toss up whether to extend our booking another week since it is so difficult to get home. Queensland cases are up including cases in Cairns. South Australia has closed their border to NSW ruling out our shortest option of travel through NSW which was to drive down to Broken Hill, west into SA and then back east into Victoria. A bit of a dog leg but less time in an area now deemed as of extreme danger.

and so on and so forth, we’re wondering how many government officials tow caravans. Funnily enough northbound we were restricted to crossing NSW no faster than 14 days while the return journey must be no slower than 1 day.
