Day 69 Tuesday 3/8/21 Mulambin, sunny 25
We shop in nearby Emu Park, a more pleasant and relaxed place to shop I can’t imagine. Woody grabs a few more zips down the waterslide before taking a doctor’s appointment, by phone, an advancement that we can thank Covid for.

VeeWee is heading down the coast towards us. We toss up whether to extend our booking another week since it is so difficult to get home. Queensland cases are up including cases in Cairns. South Australia has closed their border to NSW ruling out our shortest option of travel through NSW which was to drive down to Broken Hill, west into SA and then back east into Victoria. A bit of a dog leg but less time in an area now deemed as of extreme danger.

It makes us realise how relaxing holidays were before Covid.

At least that response actually answers the question, the automated ones only add to the frustration.

And worrying when rules are changing and a drive of hundreds of kms may be in vain.
