There is a mellowness to Melbourne in Autumn. Warm sunny days quickly give way to cool evenings. The desire to snuggle up in a favourite jumper becomes overpowering. The sadness that summer has gone for another year is tempered by the beauty of golden Autumn days.

On this day, March 18th 2023 it was hot, the last hot day of the year. A northerly wind swirled dust across the park blowing the first of the fallen leaves. I couldn’t resist snapping this bunch of local cricket fans watching one of their last games of the season.
