A Cool Coast – Remind me why we came north?

Day 17 Monday 30/6/2025 Wooli, wet 72mms of rain 13 – 16 degrees.

So much for going north to get warm. It rained all night, but thankfully Woody set the awning at a sharp angle to allow the water to run off.

By 6:30am the rain is heavy but the caravan park grounds seem to be coping with it. Not like the last time we stayed here in 2020 when the puddles were so deep that we had to wear gumboots to the pub. Now the park has been upgraded with new roadways, guttering and camp sites.

It rains all day, we constantly watch the warnings on our phones and it seems that the worst of the rain and flooding is 100 kms south of here in a nasty front that runs down to below Sydney. We have a day inside with quick wet walks around the park.

Dinner is butter chicken.

Accom: $29.00

Just a bit soggy
