Day 39 Tuesday 22/7/2025 Nambucca Heads, sunny till noon then cold again
It’s a beautiful morning for walks and the locals are pounding it out on the V Wall. The coffee cart called The Bhodi Tree is at Shelly Beach and it’s doing a good trade. I sketched it a few years back up at Bellingen. There are a few people swimming this morning. Once again, I have no luck with the shelling until I spot a spotted Helmet Cassidae. It seems that I always manage to find one of those delicate little shells when we’re here at Nambucca.

I haven’t been able to find a clinic to get my B12 shot, until Woody returns from town with the news that I can get a quick shot at the chemist this afternoon. Woohoo one injection and $14.95 thanks, and it’s done and way cheaper than the $100 quoted in Coffs. With my batteries recharged we take a drive around town.

Dinner is tasty Thai chilli chicken wings cooked in the air fryer. And we’ve got TV reception tonight since pointing the aerial out to sea. I reckon we’re bouncing a signal off Chile. Mind you, I don’t know why we bother as there’s very little on other than game shows and the News, and that’s all death and disaster.
Accom: $46.00

The shells were a good find

Is it an age thing, or is TV becoming more boring every year?

The control has gone from entertainers to accountants. How else can one explain Love Island?
