Day 33 Friday 10/7/2026 Lake Monduran, sunny 12 – 21

It’s another day for relaxing, although our peace is slowly being shattered by an onslaught of weekenders.

Who says that men can’t multitask? This morning Woody saw a fellow at the urinal attending to nature and cleaning his teeth at the same time!

We take a long walk around the campground.

Happy hour is shared with our neighbours G & S from Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.

G is one of those mechanical guys. He happens to notice grease on the neighbours van wheels, gallops across to the ‘guy who never speaks’ and tells him that he’ll take his wheels off tomorrow and fix the problem for him….we can’t wait to see this.

Dinner is egg skirt dumplings (pot sticker dumplings, cooked in the wok, whisked egg drizzled over with a sprinkling of chilli flakes on top). When the egg is cooked they’re ready to enjoy.
