It’s Spring 2016 and we explore the tiny village of Eddington on the Loddon River in Central Victoria with its rendered church. Slates are falling from the church roof and sheep graze in the side paddock. There are pretty cottages that were once shops their grass verges bright with the yellow of Cape Weed daisies.

What a lovely peaceful setting for the church, love the daisies.

My grandfather was born in Eddington around 1860. Accordingly, my father’s middle name (and my brother’s) is Eddington!
